So this is probably the result of drawing too much Madoka fanart while listening to sad songs on repeat...
I first drew this while listening to Adele obsessively ("Chasing Pavements", then "Someone Like You"). Then this progressed into listening to a whole bunch of other things (not gonna list them all; I can only say that if I did, they would probably make up the saddest mix tape ever). It's not that I was sad, it's just AHHHHHH!!!! All the Madoka/Homura feels!!!
Poor Homura, she has all the time in the world to give, but it will never be enough. WHY HOMURA, WHY!?!?
